Our story
Quiet colour, serious fabric
Vela Mare began with one frustration: swimwear that looked beautiful on a hanger and gave up in the surf. Every piece we make starts with the fabric — compressive, quick-drying, resistant to salt and chlorine — and ends in a palette borrowed from the shoreline.
We keep the range small on purpose. Eleven pieces, each one tested in the water before it earns a place in the collection.
